Colón Professor Templeton ENC 1102 18 March 2019 Income Inequality Income inequality has become crucial problems for most of developed and developing countries, this research serving as evidence that it affects places all around the World. This is described as the state of an economy in which the shares of total income earned by the reach and the poor is highly unequal. In other words, the majority of the wealth is held by a small percentage of the population. This becomes a problem in terms of injustice. Pacelli mentions that this imbalance “hinders the maintenance of full employment in modern economies, because the small population of rich, who benefit from the income and wealth concentration, consume a smaller part of the total consumer goods when compared to what is consumed by the mass of poor population” (265). It is often argued that powerful and wealthy countries do not show an interest in the goal of an equal society. This inequality affects a large number of the population, an example being how the bottom 90% of America's population hold around 23% of its wealth. A great example to start solving this issue was mentioned by Pacelli as he stated that the state should “use allocation function in budgeting” (264). Income inequality is a problem across the World that holds society back from reach its potential, but not unsolvable. This research shows how income inequality is a common issue around the World for many reasons. In an article focused on Canada, Breau stated how “11% of the nation’s income was concentrated in the hands of top earners” (13). The inequality rate over in Canada is rising at a faster rate that in the U.S. In another article by Homaie Rad, Enayatollah, et al. it showed how
