Scholz 1 Troy Scholz Professor Williamson ENC-1102 09/19/19 Reading Response #2: The Yellow Wallpaper The storyteller is distant from everyone else more often than not and says that she has turned out to be practically attached to the wallpaper and that endeavoring to make sense of its pattern has turned into her essential excitement. As her fixation develops, the sub-pattern of the wallpaper moves toward becoming more clear. It starts to take after a lady "stooping down and crawling" behind the main pattern, which resembles the bars of an enclosure. At whatever point the storyteller attempts to talk about going out, John downplays her worries, adequately hushing her. Each time he does as such, her disturbed interest with the paper develops. Before long the wallpaper commands the storyteller's creative mind. She winds up possessive and cryptic, concealing her enthusiasm for the paper and ensuring nobody else looks at it so she can "discover it out" all alone. At a certain point, she surprises Jennie, who had been contacting the backdrop and who notices that she had discovered yellow stains on their garments.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
