NURSING 2 Discussion question one Being a healthcare professional with a Christian background, I would rank the four ethical principles in the following way: 1. Nonmaleficence – it requires me not to cause any harm to my patients (Beauchamp, 2016). 2. Respect for autonomy – it is a principle which demands me to respect my patients as well as their respective wishes to the best of my ability. The principle of respect for autonomy applies in such cases as when the patient choose to refuse or consent a surgery or procedure, prefer to be changed to a DNR or decides to find help in planning for their discharge or care. 3. Beneficence – being my patients’ advocate, I should balance benefits against risks and costs, provide benefits, and prevent harm to my patients (Beauchamp, 2016). 4. Justice – I understand that, as a health care worker, I should treat my patients equally and fairly.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
