*The outcomes on cycle 1 and 2 will be the topics on the first term test There is DNA in the nucleus of a cell known as the nuclear genome DNA is also found in the mirochrondrian as well as the chloroplasts The nuclear genome is linear (linear chromosomes) and the mitochrondrian DNA (organelle DNA) is circular A genome is one copy of all of the DNA sequence in a organism (this is reffering to the nuclear genome and not the mitochondria genome) 'n' represents a set or a single copy of each chromosome in the genome For humans one set of chromosomes is 23 chromosomes and we have 2 sets therefore we are 2n 'C' represents the amount of DNA in one set of an organism's nuclear chromosomes Cycling Cells Cells cycle to repair damage and also to grow and for sexual reproduction In birds the cycleing cells are In bone marrow The stomach Reproductive organs Where are the cycling cells in the tree?
