Falsifiable statements are statements that can be proven false Non- falsifiable statements are statements in which you cannot prove false Scientific statements must be falsifiable What is the theory of evolution? It is decent of modification from a common ancestor The idea of common ancestry means that all life in one way or another is related through common ancester If we look at any two species we can find traits that they share in common and may suggest that they come from a common ancestor Even human and bacteria can be related Population is evolving if allele frequencies are changing from one population to the next
