Photosynthesis is the process that traps light energy from the sun and uses it to convert carbon dioxide and water into sugar (Belk, C., & Maier, V.B.). Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are alike in ways and different in ways as well. Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are alike in a way because they both take some form of energy and converts it into carbon dioxide. Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are different because with cellular respiration goes with you breathing. The oxygen we breathe in is delivered to cells, which undergo cellular respiration and release carbon dioxide (Belk, C., & Maier, V.B.).
