Mod 7 discussion hum 1020There are many different forms of comedy, satire, comedy of character, farce, and parody all being apart of the genre. Though, like many subgenre's, they're all different. Satire is a form of comedy that revolves around the actors ridiculing people in higher positions, usually people in political positions.Satire also mocks political corruption, war, and religious hypocrisy. An example of a satire that is more modern is talk shows, like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. These talk shows usually talk about political or social issues that they then proceed to joke about to entertain people but also bring these topics to the knowledge of the massA farce is a subgenre that is quite unsavory.
