TingSen Lao CAS 100C, sec 004 April 13, 2019 Self-Evaluation # 2\ The semester almost ends. In this class, I already made four mini speeches and two formal speeches. Throughout my speeches, I think I made some major improvements. Before taking this class, I am a kind of person who does not like to speak in front of a group of people. I always admire those speakers who stands on the stage and speak without any nervousness. Now, I am able to speak loud and confidently in front of my classmates, because I found my solution to over come my fear and pressure when I do my speech. The solution is that I need to do well prepared before my speech. Even though a speech is just one minute long, an outline is very helpful for me to prepare it. When I prepare for my formal speeches, I can never get my idea into shape without writing it down. After finishing my outline, I can make sure that I have a clear image that how my speech would be going on. This is one of the biggest harvests this semester.
