SEVEN DIMENSIONS OF ABA2The Seven Dimensions of Applied Behavior AnalysisApplied behavior analysis is based on evidence-based scientific methods using the seven dimensions that all practitioners should follow. It is important that an individual’s treatment plan has goals following these dimensions: generality, effective, technological, applied, conceptually systematic, analytic, and behavioral. The ultimate goal of a behavioral analyst is to bring about meaningful change to their children and families, and for that change to occur in situations other than where it was explicitly taught. Below I will identify which of the seven dimensions are shown in two articles. Article One: Using Token Reinforcement to Increase Walking for Adults with IntellectualDisabilitiesBrief Introduction In this article, the effectiveness of token reinforcement, using ABAB reversal design, wasevaluated for increasing distance walked for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
