Which dimensions of ABA make the most sense to you? Why? The dimension of ABA that makes most sense to me is behavioral. As a future behavior analyst, I am interested in pragmatic behavior change. I want to predict and influence behavior. So if the intervention does not produce a change, I can take a closer look at I did and be able to figure out why. Behaviors is what my focus on. Applied behavior analysis focuses on what the child needs to do, not what they need to think or feel. It also focuses on getting a child to exhibit a behavior, not just stop a behavior. Generalization is moving skills from one situation to another. ( Baer, Wolf, & Risley, 1968). For example, like a child being able to use the bathroom in one location but not in another. In effective, all interventions are monitored to ensure effectiveness and to see how they impact the behavior you are trying to change ( Baer, Wolf, & Risley, 1968).
