Executive Summary We set out to produce products that would invoke high demand at a level of efficiency and cost effectiveness that would guarantee increased market share and profits. Each department had the challenge of creating a new pattern of success from what was left behind. Product specifications were improved to meet our customers’ evolving criteria in what a desired product would be. Cost effectiveness was the number one aspect when dealing with research and development. This was met with the strategy of maintaining our products in the customers’ average ideal spots for consecutive years at a time. Marketing and sales promotions focused on increasing awareness and accessibility for our customers. This led to established market shares within each segment that ultimately gave us the dominating positon of an overall 52% share in the industry. Production maintained the pace by meeting sales forecasts and increasing our equipment efficiency to meet the industry growth. Capacity was increased to take advantage of the unmet demand within each segment and the industry as a whole. We were able to dominate the Traditional and Low segments. Our contribution margins were maintained above thirty percent. Human resources and total quality management (TQM) played a significant role in procuring skilled workers allowing us to produce at an efficient rate. We also concentrated on lowering material and labor costs, significantly decreased the time for new products to emerge and ensured a high level of demand. Financially we produced profits every year and invested with minimal borrowing. We produced a cumulative profit of $228 million. Our stock price increased to $269. Our return on assets was 17.8% and return on equity was 27.1%; double our competitors. We have a solid foundation to work with and expect the trend to continue. Page | 3

Introduction This project was launched in order to re-establish our position within the technology market after the split of the monopoly. Andrews was founded in September 2016 and has been producing sensor chips for seven years. Our goal is to produce desirable low end and traditional sensors while keeping a competitive edge in all other segments. This report will outline the strategies, decisions and results encompassing the entire span of years since the split.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
