Miriam Bartley Prof. Joseph Bubenas February 03, 2019 He -102 After reading both articles, “What you’re probably doing now is killing you,” by Gretchen Reynolds and the Washington post, “Don’t just sit there,” shows me how much my body is being destroyed every time I sit for a long period of time. In other words, my Organs are being damaged by developing Heart disease, Over productive pancreas and Colon cancer. However all that I mentioned above is just a small portion of damage that can affect the body because we can develope a bad back, leg disorders such as varicose veins, foggy brain, strained neck and our muscles of which I learn that its one of the most critical body part, on the other hand it consumes blood sugar that can build-up if the muscles are not being used after which both blood sugar and insulin levels are out of whack and starting to develop into type 2 diabetes as it was mentioned in the article “What You’re Probably Doing Now Is Killing You.”

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
