1(What is the filmmaker’s Argument) A filmmaker’s argument can be described by subtle but significant terms. It is synonymous to observational cinema. It is a form of unadulterated direct cinema. In most cases, a filmmaker’s argument lacks the voice-over of a narrator. In this case, the focus is largely on the events recording where the audiences and subject are unaware of the recording’s presence. A filmmaker’s argument involves the set up interactions between the subjects and the filmmakers, this provokes needling. The intention of a filmmaker is to epitomize the truth of subject in their perceived objectivity. As such, a filmmaker is a catalyst of a cinematic circumstance. 2 (Comment) After watching the report, am left amazed how countries that are still marginalizing her black people is still fervent about the blacks in South Africa. From the video, it is evident that it is time for the black people particularly in Africa to get intricate with progressive perceptions
