The hardest advice to adhere to from the list in Chapter 16 would be asking for feedback frequently because you have to pull away from the material that you are presenting and possibly answer questions that the audience has. Answering questions or receiving feedback may distract you to the point where you lose your place in the presentation. Making notes and planning those feedback points can be helpful. All the rest of the advice given in Chapter 16 would be easy to control. Recently, my boss and I have to calibrate on a presentation, issue is that we are not at the same location. So I pulled some information that he asked for and he added some better wording for upper management to understand on a higher level. We took the time to run through the information before presenting it to upper management to make sure the time allotted was about the same as time of the presentation. We both had speaking points so that allowed each of us to be that audience member and tweak each other’s dialogue....
