For this week’s discussion, I decided to go with the option 2 scenario. The proportion of students who have an iPhone by last name there would be two variables. One of the two variable p1 represents the students whose last names begin with A-K, and the second variable out of the two would be p2 which represents the students whose last names begins with L-Z.
