Employees were asked to submit to an employee satisfaction survey. This survey was developed and administered in an attempt to assess the most urgent issues identified by the employees. These areas of concern will then be addressed by management for development and resolution. The overall job satisfaction number collected by the survey was 2.9 on a 1-5 scale. This number is relatively low and corresponds with the scores of the main areas of concern which had similar sores. According to the summative results of the survey, the 5 most prevalent issues of concern to the employees are: 1. Pay - 2.2 2. Training and Professional Development – 2.4 3. Career development – 2.4 4. Accessibility to top Management – 2.7

The following questions were the actualy question sused and the average scores for each question. Scoring was based on a 1-5 scale with 1 being strongly disagree and 5 being strongly agree. 1. I think the business cares about me as a person as well as an employee Average Score – 3.2 This score indicates that more than half of the employees thinks that the business cares about them personally. This score could be much higher and PMC should look into what might be causing this mediocre score. Perhaps the comment section of the surveys is a good place to look for examples. 2. I think, in general, morale in this business is high. Average Score – 2.9 This score indicates the only a slightly more than half of the employees think business morale is high. This is not a good score and OPPMC should take steps right away to correct this issue. 3. I would recommend this business to others as an employer Average Score – 3.5 This score is a bit higher than average, but still not great. PMC has a responsibility to its stakeholders to create a good business reputation among the employees and within the business community. If only half of its employees would recommend the company to others, then the other half is bad mothing PMC and that means their reputation will take a hit. 4. I would recommend this business as a provider of goods and/or services. Average Score - 4.4 This is a great score! This score indicates that almost everyone that works for PMC is proud of what the company is making and producing and putting out into the marketplace.

5. I am proud to tell my friends I work for this company. Average Score - 4.2 This is also a good score. It might indicate that the company reputation for goods and services slightly offsets the reputation of not being the greatest employer. PMC should look into how they can boost company pride within its labor force. 6. I think people appreciate the work I do.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
