The is- sue is not that we are not equipped to manufacture the product to satisfy our void, it is that our mind has adapted to the new thinking route of the new informative period. In the article Is Google Making Us Stupid? The idea it conveys is firmly advocated by those who believes in the “conspiracy theory”, that we are doomed by the rapid advancement of technology, while the oth- ers claim that social media and searching engine are only beneficial to us. From my perspective, I think the latter is rather ignorant just as this generation is tagged with, being deceived by the convenience of modern technology. The passage creates a very vivid picture for us to examine and authentic enough for us to acquaint with. First and foremost, the appeals used in the article is mixed well and designed coordinately which stack upon each other to make the proclamation unshakable. The etho and logo used in the article are extremely obvious that can be found throughout the passage. The logic of this article is solid and the sources are from famous experts from different expertise such as history, psychol- ogy, computer science etc., the placement of the quotes and the unveiling of the present and his- torical figures enhances the credibility of this essay. “For instance, The faster we surf across the Web—the more links we click and pages we view—the more opportunities Google and other companies gain to collect information about us and to feed us advertisements.” The distraction
