The criminal justice career that I am most interested in would be a crime scene investigators. The reason I find this so interesting is that I like solving puzzles and this is like a big, important puzzle that needs to be finished for the case to be solved. As a crime scene investigator, the most challenging aspects would be keeping personal and professional life separate. When acting as an investigator, professional life gets hard because the cases become part of my life and I have to make sure that all the evidence that is at the scene is found so this case can be solved. Each case is a different puzzle and if the puzzles are relatable to my life it would be hard to separate the two. Crime scene investigation has a big risk to all the parties involved, I would have to make sure that the scene is safe, there is no one fleeing the scene, the victims are secured and the weapon, if there is one at the scene, is also

I want to be the person that helps make a family whole after losing a loved one. Being in this career makes me strive to find anything and everything that will help the case and I will do the most that I can to solve it. For this career, I would need a high school diploma and some sort of crime scene investigation training or courses through either a college or police academy. There should be some courses in criminal justice, psychology, or even sociology. During this time, there should be internships being done to understand how to take fingerprints and analyze them.
