Catalog Course Description Analysis of the elements that make up complex organizations and the factors that affect human behavior within them, with emphasis on the processes of interpersonal and group communication. Required Text and Materials Robbins, S. P. & Judge, T.A. (2015) Organizational Behavior (16th ed.) Boston: Pearson. Course Delivery Mode This is an online course accessible through FAU’s learning management system— Canvas. You must log into Canvas with your FAU ID and Password to access the materials and assignments

The course begins with a START HERE unit that will familiarize you with the organization and navigation of the course. Each week you will open a new unit to access the reading materials, PowerPoints, and other materials relevant to the week’s topic, your assignments for each week will be listed within the unit. POWERPOINTS JUST GIVE YOU A GLANCE OF THE CHAPTER; THUS YOU MUST HAVE THE TEXTBOOK. Computer Requirements Operating System o A computer that can run Mac OSX or Win XP or higher Peripherals o A backup option should be available to minimize the loss of work. This can be an external hard drive, a USB drive, cloud storage, or your folder on the FAU servers. Software o Please visit the Students tab in Canvas located at the top of each Canvas page for LMS compatibility with your computer. Make sure your Internet browser is compatible and that you have all the recommended plug-ins installed. o Other software may be required for specific learning units and/or modules, but the links to download and install it will be provided within the applicable unit and/or module. You may also need headphones with a microphone for Canvas live sessions. Other Technology Needs and Information Go to the Canvas login site. The University provides a wealth of Free-eLearning Reference Guides . It will introduce you to Turnitin, give you information about plagiarism and its prevention, and provides on-line tutorials you can use to help raise your comfort level in Canvas. Per University regulation, I will not communicate with you through any other e-mail address except your @fau.edu account. Should you forward your email to another account you are still responsible for what has been sent to your University email.
