Abraham Maslow’s Studies: Maslow argued that the need of humans can be broken down into several categories. In order for people to move to the next stage, the needs of a previous stage must be met. He created the hierarchy of needs in order to study what motivates human behavior. In order for a person to progress successfully throughout life, they must be able to move up the hierarchy of needs. A person can also fall back down the hierarchy of needs based on life experiences. The list begins with attaining basic needs and moves up to the needs to help others.
