In this case i believe Giancarlo Stanton was subjected to the pressure. His decision to agree upon that contract despite how he deeply felt about it brings the question to mind if these athletes do it all for the money. With this being the case I highly disagree with his decision. In his remarks after the contract, Stanton is quoted to have said "There was no sure hundred percent answer. But the decision is made. Once you make your decision, you go all-in with it". In addition he also mentioned being unhappy after always loosing although he lives a lavish lifestyle....
