The use of cellphones in class should be prohibited because it causes distraction and when the students are distracted then they end up failing in school and having bad grades. Using phones in class is not appropriate because it causes a lot of distractions in class though most people say smartphones help students which is still confusing to me because if students were to do anything on the internet in the classroom, the school has provided chromebooks for each class so that they can be able to access the internet in the school

Though most kids can handle multitasking that using phones in school require but majority of the students get carried away and distracted by the phone, even the physical presence of the phone draws their attention away from the class. Though Smartphones help students keep updated in school about what is happening outside the school but if there should be a tornado forecast or change in weather, then the school administrators are in the right position to let the students know about it....
