BSBRES401 – Analyse and present research information APPLE COMPUTERS Apple was founded in April 1976, 31 years before the first ever iPhone was announced in January 9, 2007. Apple famously known for their iPhone’s started off as a company which manufacture computers. For over 3 decades apple manufactured consumer electronics, personal computers and servers. With some of their more famous computer brands being Apple II, Macintosh and Power Mac. In 2001, Apple introduced the first iPod into the market, which later seen the introduction of the iTunes music store in 2003 which helped to establish Apple as the leader in consumer electronic media sales in the industry. With Apples new found success in other areas the company then made the decision to rebrand themselves, formally “Apple Computers” today commonly known as “Apple”. Contributing to Apple’s success with the launch of their famous “IOS” range of technology including the iPod touch and iPad. June 29, 2007, was the official date for the first every iPhone. This was not available in every country to start off with. In 2008 Apple introduce with first iPhone with 3G. Every year since apple has launch an iPhone which just keeps the world guessing and wanting more from this tech giant. 2017 will mark the 10 th anniversary of Apple iPhones in Australia with the iconic iPhone X being released.
