Use the space below to draw a N-MOS and P-MOS transistor, labeling all terminals. 2. Recreate the I-V curve from your textbook labeling each axis and the modes of operation. 3. List the formulas for each mode of operation.

Plot the Voltage Transfer Curve (V out vs. V in ). What is the maximum output voltage, V OH ? What is the minimum output voltage, V OL ? Draw the line V out = V in . The voltage where the V out = V in line crosses the VTC curve, is the inverter switching voltage, VM, what is this voltage? (Note: Be sure to label the V OH , V OL , and V M on your VTC curve.) Lastly, build the inverter that you have created and compare your hand calculations with the values that you measured in the lab. Discussion Now that you have completed this experiment, what relationship(s) can be made between MOSFETS and logic gates. Pre-Lab Due: November 1, 2019 Lab Report Due: November 15, 2019...

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
