Marley Salevao February 25, 2019 Period 3 Green Day Stress Articles Reflection In the APA article, “ Stress In America: Generation Z”, it talks about how Generation Z is the most stressed out generation so far. I think the reason why our generation (ages 4-26) is so stressed out is because we have been exposed to social media and the internet a lot more now than we have ever been. With the technology today, we are exposed to absolutely everything and anything in the world. Not only that but with social medias like Facebook or Instagram, people can post just about anything they want because of the efficiency and freedom of public accounts: nothing is private. With schools now, they also provide college level classes for high school students, adding on more academic stress. Another factor of our generations stress is that students, ages 15 and up, are applying for jobs while still in school. So with that being said, not only are students stressing about their academics in high school and in college classes, they also stress about their job and their life at home. I think our generation is most likely to report mental health and seek help because the amount of support that we receive from those around us, especially from our family and friends. The older generations of today, are much more supportive then they have been in the past and I think that's why we younger generations feel so comfortable expressing our feelings to others and seeking help.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
