FAMILY WELLNESS Family Wellness When developing marketing materials, multiple things should be taken into consideration to include audience, age and what information is going to be presented. My target audience is senior citizens that live independently and my health promotion campaign is family wellness. To spread the message for my health promotion campaign, titled “The Family Wellness Initiative” within my product, I have chosen to create a trifold brochure. My health promotion campaign aims to work with a variety of professional organizations so I would distribute my brochure in various health care settings that senior citizens often visit, such as various doctors’ offices or occupational therapists’ offices, because older adults are likely to trust the advice and opinions from medical professionals (Sederstrom, 2017). I also chose to use a printed marketing item because I can easily adapt it into a direct mail item which has about a 43 percent response rate.
