Background Information I am preparing a financial analysis on Lockheed Martin Corp. I indirectly deal with them on a daily basis since they are a defense contractor and we use a lot of their products in the Air Force. This power point will discuss various parts of their financial reports and assorted aspects of their SEC 10K from their most recent fiscal year. Financial Statements The next few slides include the following financial statements: Consolidated Statements of Earnings, Consolidated Balance Sheet and Consolidated Statements of Equity. The Consolidates Statements of Earnings shows describes the dollar value in USD ($) and in millions. The first line item is total net sales and shows quarterly totals as far back as March, 2017 and then yearly totals through December, 2016. The total net sales for 2018 is $53, 762 million. Some of the pertinent items on the Consolidated Balance Sheet are as follows: Cash and cash equivalents - $772 million Receivables, net - $2,444 million Contract assets - $9,472 million Inventories - $2,997 million Other current assets - $418 million Some of the pertinent items on the Consolidated Statements of Equity and the amounts are displayed as Increase (Decrease) in Stockholders Equity ($ in millions): Total - $1,449 Common Stock - $281 million Additional Paid-in Capital - $0 Retained Earnings - $15,434 million Accumulated other Comprehensive Loss - $(14,321) million Total Stockholders’ Equity - $1,394 million Noncontrolling Interests in Subsidiary - $55 million
