The book attempts to highlight some of the daily struggles and challenges that families of such victims encounter while dealing with such cases. Additionally, Pamela’s literature is an expose into the world of schizophrenics as it paints the sad reality that is the turmoil and turbulence that they face in the face of inadequate medical and professional support from relevant institutions. The title “Divided Minds: Twin Sisters and Their Journey Through Schizophrenia” fits well in the author's narration of her life and that of her twin sister. Born at the same time, their earlier years well into teenage appear normal as Pamela proves to be the dominant between the two, manifesting all manner of excellence. However, upon her diagnosis with schizophrenia, their lives are thrown into a confusion as she starts living a life characterized by episodes of schizophrenic attacks. On the other hand, her sister remains normal and struggles to deal with the devil in her sister’s mental case. They have
