Noise can happen on your side as the speaker (podcaster), or it can happen on the listener’s side and it also can happen somewhere in between. I think the type of noise that may have contributed to the issues in this scenario. Physical noise is interference that is external to both speaker and listener; it hampers the physical transmission of the signal or message. For example, loud party at the neighbors while you’re trying to record, loud kids who don’t want to take their nap, and irritating hum of your computer, air conditioner, or heater. In this case, the noise is the meeting room is next to the busy street, so the trucks and buses went past the open windows make noise, and the air conditioner did not seem to work, so the meeting room was hot.
