ASSIGNMENT QUESTION PURPOSE The purpose of this assignment is to develop the learners’ ability to apply the change management theories in an organisation. REQUIREMENT Read the following journal: Mento, A. J., Jones, R. M., & Dirndorfer, W. (2002). A change management process: Grounded in both theory and practice. Journal of Change Management, 3 (1), 45- 59. Use the framework in the journal (12 steps) and apply the framework in your selected company as a case study. Prepare an incident analysis and solution for the company to face challenges. Please follow the guideline below: 1. Introduction Describe what happened by presenting a brief overview of the key facts of the case. 2. Literature Review Compare the framework of Mento, Jones, & Dirndorfer (2002) with Lewin’s change model (three stages) 3. Incident Analysis and solution Use the framework (12 steps) 4. Conclusion Describe how you structured your team to accomplish the task and the obstacles that arose over time. 2
