If a teacher is going to repeatedly give praise for good behavior, then the students are apt to behave is a good way. If the teacher sets the expectation that the students come prepared for class, then students will come prepared. The teacher will expect for homework to be complete and have consequences if it is not. When working on an assignment or taking a test the teacher will set the expectation that each student is going to read directions
