You are now deciding on resources for a project team. You have a choice to staff a team of resources who will be dedicated (or allocated) 100% to the project, or staff a team of resources who will be dedicated (or allocated) three days each week to your project. Using information from the readings, explain how you can use either set of resources. The determination of project-specific resources requires cost, skills, and time. Two types of staff are usually engaged in a project i.e., dedicated staff or full-time employees, and non- dedicated staff or part-time employees. The dedicated staff requires low cost, time, and skills during the completion of a project. On the contrary, the cost, time, and skills all are required at a higher level when there is a matter to engage a non-dedicated staff or part-time employee. For the given scenario, both the dedicated and non-dedicated staff will be engaged. The project manager can take benefits from both the resources; however, he will need to regulate the

The formation of different teams within the project is easy for the project manager.
