COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course engages learners in understanding the distinctions between and among four types of grammar, functional, prescriptive, descriptiveand pedagogic. Aside from the emphasis on how teaching and assessment vary considering the four types, the course also provides opportunities to discover the role of grammarin achieving communicative competence.III.
