ORGANIZATION THEORY Organization theory is defined as the study of structure, functioning and performance of organizations and behavior of individuals working there in (ibid p, 421). From the definition organization theory aims at coming up with better ways of organizing tasks and people in order to achieve organizational goals. Organization theory is therefore concerned about the way activities or works are designed to produce best output. According to (Daft, R.L, 2004). Organization theory is most concerned about efficient and the way works are organized to achieve best results. In real sense for organization to achieve its best results activities or works in an organization has to be arranged in a way that is easier to attain its efficiency. The way organization is related to its environment or how it works internally matters most because it has to provide tools that explain the best way to stir up the best performance and help managers to analyze both past and future and identify the need for change for the company to favorably compete with other companies on the market . Issues such as failure by company to respond to competitors, customers and creditors, inability to implement strategies and bring structural changes that can help the company to attain its effectiveness also failure to compete with larger firms.
