DATA ANALYSIS USING THE EPI202 CALCULATOR The EPI202 Calculator is an Excel spreadsheet programmed to do stratified data analysis. You can download the file from the EPI 202 website (under Software). Getting Started Open the EPI202 Calculator in Excel. You will get a screen that looks like this: What type of data do you want to analyze? Cummulative Incidence (Risk) Data Incidence Rate (Person-Time) Data Case-Control Data Matched Case-Control Data Click on the appropriate link for the type of data you want to analyze. You can also move to the type of analysis you want by clicking on the tabs at the bottom on the Excel workbook. Printing, Saving and Exiting You can print directly from Excel or cut and paste pieces you want to print into Word. If you want to save your entered data and results, select “Save As…” from the file menu. Then save a copy of the calculator with your data under a new file name. To exit, simply close the program. Warning note Note that the program opens with some data already entered as an example. Be sure that before you look at your results, these entries are no longer present (either because you have entered new data over them or because you have deleted them). All two by two tables with data are included in the summary results, so be sure all the two by two tables not needed for your data are empty.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
