I will respond to e-mails on the weekend whenever I check websites.Course Textbook:Exploring Creation with Physical Science2ndEdition By: Apologia – Dr. WilePurpose of Class: The purpose of this class is to become familiar with weather, motion, Newton’s Laws, light,sound, forces, and Astrophysics. This curriculum is designed to help a student explore the universeso they can “learn the majesty of God’s Creation”.Attendance:All students are asked to inform the teacher if they are to be absent. It will be the student’sresponsibility to speak with the teacher about what needs to be made up or handed in. The studentwill also be responsible for attaining whatever notes or handouts given while he/she was absent.The student is expected to arrive on time with all needed work and materials. They are tostay in class for the entire period. They will be given a tardy if they are 5 minutes late. After the 5minutes they will be sent to the office. If they are 15 minutes late they will receive an unexcusedabsence and a grade of zero will be given for the class time.Late Policy:It is the student’s responsibility to have all work turned in on time. I will no longer accept anywork through email. Homework must be turned in at the beginning of the class. The teacher will notissue reminders. If the student is sick, there is a death, emergency, planned absence communicatedto the teacher ahead, etc., there will be extra time given to complete the assignment(s).Without an acceptable excuse, homework is considered late. The homework turned in on thedue day will receive full credit; homework turned in late will be deducted 25%. If the student waitsuntil the following Thursday, the work will have a zero and no credit will be given. There are noexceptions to the rule.
