RUNNING HEAD: WEEK 1 ASSIGNMENT 2 The Coca Cola Company is one of the world’s largest nonalcoholic beverage Manufacturer. It was built in the later 1800s by Asa Griggs Chandler and is actively located in over 200 countries. The company promotes, manufactures, and sells over 3,500 different brand names. Coca Cola mission statement is “to refresh the world in mind, body, and spirit. To inspire moments of optimism and happiness through our brands and actions. To create value and make a difference”. The Coca Cola Company is known as the most valuable brand and can be compared with making people happy. The words Coca Cola is translated as Delicious Happiness in some languages. Being a different company, the company is known for its multicultural career opportunities for Women Business Enterprises. They continue to grow the company, and in 2017 they increased the annual dividend for 55 years straight. The Coca Cola Company is the world’s largest beverage company and prides its work in North America market. The focus is on being the fastest-growing large consumer goods company. Paying close attention to evolving the brand offerings to reflect what the consumer wants and needs. This is accomplished by marketing over 800 assorted products like Coca Cola, Fanta, and Diet Coke. They also manufacture Smart Water, ZICO coconut water, and juices. One primary commitment is to embrace the entrepreneurial culture and boundary-less thinking that allows the company to continue to grow by meeting the demands of the consumers, lifestyles, and counties. The company operates based on internal financial reporting and includes “operating segments in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific, and Bottling Investments” (2019).
