Data: Data consists of unrefined, unstructured and unfiltered information.
It is sometimes
recordings of the events and raw information. All the things about an entity can be put as data.
Information: By filtering the raw data we can get something relevant and useful data which is
structured and can be used for analysis.
Knowledge: Knowledge is actionable information. This is residing in user when he has the
information and data which when combined with experience and knowledge can become an idea.
Data is a set of discrete and objective facts, it is unstructured, elements of analysis and must be
organized to become information. The data which is put into context and it becomes the basis for
knowledge. Information has relations with the other pieces of data which is structured, organized
and communicated through some language. When we have information, we can apply our
