CASE STUDY2Case Study: Theories of CrimeCriminal justice experts have discovered that crime is a result of social behavior.Additionally, crime is a complex situation that changes across both cultures and time due to thechange of cultures, behavior that was not criminalized become criminalized. Personal interests,cultural experiences and social events are some of the contributing factors to crimes.Additionally, there are predispositions that make one get involved in criminal activities. Gettinginvolved in crime has been supported by theories; social and biological. The case of the 19, yearold, Malcolm Pine is a serious case that has resulted from a mental disability, lack of enoughparental guidance and inheritance of his father.The biological theory of crime makes the assumption that one can be born a criminal.
