OP-EDThe fate of Diabetes is not only defined by your genesDiabetes is not only seeded in one’s genes. I am talking about type 2 and type 3, recently occupyingeverybody’s mind and, also called Alzheimer’s Disease. Diabetes is fed by the government and the foodindustry. It is time to wake up, be critical and take responsibility for one’s own health by makinginformed decisions concerning food.Nearly forty years after the government and the food industry bought into cherry picked studies, thatclaimed heart attacks occur due to saturated fats in our diets, Pre-Diabetes, and Diabetes control about50% of American adult’s health. The food guidelines have been adjusted but, increasingly, Americans getdiagnosed with this chronic disease. Many believe that their fate lies in their genes. Only a few realizethat the food industry is not interested in maintaining our health, and that the seed to the disease mightbe found here.
