English Mr. Wiemer Broedy Field November 15, 2019 Frankenstein Essay Frankenstein ever since it was written was revered book. With its thought provoking narrative that really gets the reader thinking not only about the characters within the book, but the general topics it brings up. Some people, mainly people my age could see this an outdated boring book to read. It isn't, in its own sense the book is timeless and hence why it is seen as a classic. You really have to read between the lines when you read this book, whether it was meant for that purpose or not. Mary Shelley was only seventeen when she wrote Frankenstein. So my age, which is pretty young for someone to be writing a book of this calibre. She is probably still figuring out how to go about doing things in life, like socially and dealing with school perhaps. The book Frankenstein almost seems like a vent of sorts or a way to express her feelings. When you read chapters 12-17 when the creature is in the woods and learning from the family. It shows a lot of self conscious behavior towards itself. Worried
