However, the grocery industry which Whole Foods has beenoperating is considered historically as a low-growth industry, on top of that, Whole Foods hasbeen swarmed with competitors each year that would eat away their profit and market share,moreover, Whole Foods has been facing competition in their main business (Organic Food),and other pressures such as the legitimacy of the concept of organic food and the publicperception of Whole Foods being far more expensive than others.
