Falling Egg Apparatus Lab Report The purpose of the Falling Egg Apparatus Experiment was to create an apparatus that holds an egg and prevents it from cracking when dropped from the top of the bleachers. My hypothesis was that the egg would not crack in our apparatus after dropping it from the bleachers. Our apparatus structure was a simple aired up ball that you get from walmart, cut open with scissors and filled with cotton balls. We placed the egg, covered by small dish sponges, in the ball filled with cotton balls, then taped the ball tightly shut. The exact materials we needed was The ball, cotton balls, the dish sponges, rubber bands, scissors, and tape. The length of the apparatus was 7 inches, the width was 7 inches, the height was 6.9 inches, and the mass was 3.27grams. When the apparatus was dropped, it fell to
