Introduction to Philosophy Take-Home Essays—Due October 1st (60 pts) Make sure to cite the major texts and use footnotes. Please answer each essay with a minimum of 2 pages. Below each essay prompt, you see sub-questions. Consider them guiding questions to help you flesh out your essays. Should you be nervous about essay writing and would like, in this first essay, briefly to answer those sub-questions in short answer form (small paragraphs), that is fine. It often helps develop your writing. Again, do not forget footnotes! Don’t be shy to get help from the library.
