China’s one child Policy, with an extreme population come extremely low resources. China’s one child policy came in effect in 1979. China’s one child policy came around because of China’s population as stated before with too many people the resources for those people begin to diminish. One of the biggest resources that were diminishing in the late 70s was freshwater, it got to the point where not everybody was able to get freshwater. Let’s take a look at that for a second, freshwater is an important commodity that us as humans need to survive, yes you might be able to survive on dirty water recycled water but at what cost different viruses and bacteria and other negative impacts that used water may have on you. With big populations in China another important aspect that you have to take a look at is overcrowded where are you going to live if you don’t already have a place this could weigh heavily on you

Unformatted text preview: lets say that you already have a place in that place you only have enough room for one child, but all of a sudden you will to have three or four more children where are you going to comfortably put these children so they are not crowded and grown up on top of each other. During the one child policy in the 1980s China relaxed on their policy and allow couples to have a second child the stipulations for this was if both parents were the only children in another exception of this policy was if you lived in Royal China and you are in the minority with a small population you are allowed to have more than one child the only at the city that was targeted during the one child policy where the Han Chinese that was the ethnic majority of the time. China’s one child policy that lasted all the way until 2015 it is said China prevented the birth of over 400 million children with this policy....
