FINAL PROJECT 2 Social responsibility being an ethical framework maintains that an entity be it an individual or an organization has an obligation of acting for the benefit of the society as a whole. It is a duty to be performed by every person to maintain a balance between the ecosystems and the economy. Social issues, on the other hand, are problems influencing considerable numbers of individuals in society. Social issues are mainly consequences of factors that extend beyond an individual’s social issue and it is the source of conflicting opinions on the grounds of what is taken to be morally just regarding the social order or the personal life (DuBois et al, 2013). Social issues are related to society’s perception. They may include their attitudes and thoughts and how they live within their communities. Different cultures and countries have different perceptions to what they term as normal behavior. Discussion Different individuals experience social problems personally. One of the major social problems experienced by many people is unemployment which leads to family problems and poor health. When we look at these individuals, we normally tend to think that the problem is theirs alone and that they are to be blamed for their difficulties. This social issue leads to drinking and others go to the extent of committing crimes (Heath et al, 2013). If we can take a different approach to this problem, we will find that sociology maintains that the problem is mainly rooted in problems originating from the aspect of society itself.
