Allan Adamczyk ISP 203B Milestone 2 Section 1: The cycles involved with forming a hurricane are Water and Plate Tectonics. The interaction between these two cycles is that while the plate tectonics shift they cause a disturbance in the atmosphere. These interactions cause winds to rise and a funnel to form above water causing an upward suction of the water and creating a hurricane. Section 2: The systems involved are the atmosphere and the hydrosphere. The atmosphere and the hydrosphere interact when the water is pulled up into the vortex via the upward section in the funnel. Without either of these systems a hurricane would not be possible because with no hydrosphere it would just be a tornado and with no atmosphere it would be a tidal wave.
