Sumner 1 Alyssa Sumner Paul Buckley Chem 106 lab 4 October 2019 Le Chatelier’s Post-lab (6) Write a brief summary of your experiment. As part of this, you have to describe: a. What you were trying to accomplish b. What your experimental approach was (or how you did it) c. What your results were. In this experiment we were trying to observe the change in a solution when solids, other solutions, and acids were added. This allowed us to observe color changes that indicated if the reaction leaned towards the product side or the reactant side of the reaction. A reaction should go into the direction where there are the most moles involved, therefore, most of my hypotheses lean towards the directions I believe had the most moles. In this experiment we were told to take six test tubes and add different things to five of them and leave the final one alone with Cobalt IV Chloride. The last one we were able to heat and then cool to observe what it does by itself.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
