GAME DESCRIPTION Brikks is a ‘roll & write’ -game where the game progress is normally written/drawn on paper. It can be played by one or more players. In this task you write a Java program with the MVP-model(Model- View-Presenter) with a JavaFX-interface for one player. At the start of the game the player is given a grid on which are scattered colored balls (12 in total, see Figure 1). In addition, the player receives a number of tetris-blocks in six colors (see Figure 2). These pieces are going to be used by the player to fill his grid. The player rolls two dice. On the six-sided die, there is a color on each side. On the four-sided die, there is a number on each side, from numbers 1 to 4. With each combination of number and color there is a matched tetris-block (see Figure 2). When placing a tetris block in the grid, the player must take into account the fact that the Tetris block (the same block like in the computer game) gets lowered from top to bottom and the block can still move left and right, but it can’t turn around. If the player is not satisfied with the dice-roll and the matching tetris block, the player is allowed once in the entire game to not place the tetris block in the grid, and to throw the dice again.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
