Srisouvanh 1 Emily Srisouvanh Professor Miller Kin 1610 30 May 2018 A Football Life Chad Johnson In the documentary “A Football Life Chad Johnson”, Zach Crutcher informs us about how Chad Johnson made it to the NFL and what kind of person he was. Chad Johnson is a well known African American highly respected NFL football player. Johnson came from nothing and turned himself into something that he would have never believed in becoming. Football was Johnson’s all time favorite hobby that he truly enjoyed playing. The football player was different when it came down to being drafted into the NFL; it was never about the money to him. His arrogance made critics of the football industry believe he was disrespectful, but his arrogance was there for a reason. Johnson was raised by his grandmother Bessie Mae Flower, he did not have that love that most children receive from either parents because the both were not present. Being raised by his grandmother only made him become the person that he is today. Johnson began his football career playing as a college student at Santa Monica College, then transferred to Oregon State, which then resulted to being drafted to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2001.
